Mountain is located 5 miles from Wrightwood CA. It is approximately one
mile form the Forest Service Big Pines Station.
Description:
There are two Table Mountains Campgrounds in California. The Angeles one
is located in the Big Pines area. This facility has vault toilets, paved
spurs, fire pits, and water spigots every 6 sites. There are some
grills, and bear boxes. Summer temperatures are in the low 80's with
cool evenings.
Activities: There
are several great activities available in this area. This includes
sightseeing, hiking, picnicking, and nature study..
Opening/Closing Dates:
April 21st to November 13th (approximately).
Reservation Policies:
Reservations must be made at least four days in advance. There is a
per day/per vehicle fee for extra vehicles that is collected at the
campground. Firewood sold at the campground. No refunds are given for
bad weather.
NOTE:
CAUTION: Bears frequent the area. All food must be kept in approved
