Location:
Dorabelle Campground is located approx. 50 miles from Clovis, CA.
Directions: From
Clovis, take Highway 168 north 49 miles to Shaver Lake, then turn right
on Dorabelle Road and go ½ mile to campground. Campground registration
information is at the campground entry station.
Description: Dorabelle
Campground is surrounded by mountains, lakes, and forests.
Facilities: There
is a boat ramp one mile from campground and firewood is sold on the
premises.
Opening/Closing Dates:
May 6th to September 30th (approx.).
Reservation Policies:
Reservations must be made at least three days in advance. The camping
fee includes entry for one vehicle and one legally towed vehicle. A fee
of $5.00 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.
Vehicles are to be parked in designated areas only. There is a
two-night minimum on Weekends. There is a 3-night minimum on holidays.
Important Notes:
No all-terrain or off-highway vehicles allowed in the campground. All
equipment must fit on the site pad. No discharge of firearms or
fireworks. All pets must be leashed. Quiet hours are 10:00pm to 6:00am.
Staff resides on site.
